Angelo Blancaflor

Angelo graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying Molecular Biology and Asian American studies. His plans to enter a Ph.D. program for microbiology changed at Urbana 15, where God invited him to come on staff with the Ministry in Digital Spaces team. He served as their Evangelism Champion, developing online small groups as places for longtime online friends to explore Jesus. He transitioned to the Evangelism team in full in 2018, excited to advance digital ministry and evangelism as more and more students invest their time online. He spends his time online, meeting with his 8+ year-long gaming group, or drinking boba from one of the many cafes near his home in Orange County, CA.
