Kyle Lee

Kyle grew up all around the United States and was a missionary kid to Kenya throughout high school. He earned his Bachelors in English at the University of Virginia and is a spoken word artist, podcast host, and producer working for MEICL as their Digital Media Specialist. He is married to his wife, Hope, and enjoys comics, pop culture, rap and folk music, and lives in Harlem NYC.

Jeff Liou

Rev. Jeff M. Liou, PhD is the National Director of Theological Formation for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. He leads the department responsible for creating and delivering foundational theological training for InterVarsity staff.  Jeff is also an affiliate assistant professor of Christian ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, where he received his Ph.D. in Theology and Culture.  His research and writing interests include race and justice, church and culture, Asian American Christianity, theological ethics, and political theology. Ordained in the Christian Reformed Church of North America, Liou has served as a campus minister, local church pastor, and university chaplain. 

Emily Boyd

Emily Hill Boyd has a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from the University of Aberdeen and is the author of Marketing & Christian Proclamation in Theological Perspective. Her research interests include economics, church marketing, and how cultural systems affect our life and worship. She currently serves as the Associate National Director for Theological Formation at InterVarsity.

God is already at work in our friends; discerning what thresholds they are in allows us to be more helpful to their faith journey. The idea of sharing the gospel at a Christmas party will sound awkward to your students initially. Let’s be like Buddy from “Elf” he effectively spreads Christmas cheer even to the coldest of skeptics. We too can embrace being slightly awkward for the sake of spreading true Christmas cheer and lifting the bushel of faith (Matt 5:15)
