How to Meet Muslim Internationals

There are Muslim international students on your campus but, while they may be curious, most will not show up at a typical InterVarsity or ministry event. We need to go to them. But it’s very easy to get started. Walking up and introducing yourself is one of the best ways to make a new friend. This resource will teach you how!

Amy Liu

Amy is in her fifth year on staff with InterVarsity. She is currently the Team Leader of Central & West Ohio and lives in Columbus, OH as proud Buckeye. In ministry, she is passionate about prayer and challenging students into deeper leadership and intimacy with Jesus. She also enjoys Midwest evenings on the porch, Taiwanese oyster vermicelli, and sleeping in her own bed.

HC Yang

HC has been on staff with InterVarsity for 10 years, currently serving as the Associate Area Director for Chicago. In an increasingly complex, polarized, and chaotic world – a world that Christians have largely failed – he wants to see God form a people that can speak prophetically, act imaginatively, and live freely, bearing witness to the shalom God wants to bring. He has served at a variety of contexts in Chicago and most recently led a multi-chapter ministry plant at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He completed his Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is working on his Masters in Theology at Duke Divinity School.
