John W. Alexander, Ph. D.
The late John W. Alexander (1918-2002). "Dr. A" fostered fruitful engagement between Christians and their academic and professional milieux throughout his career as Professor of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and as President of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship from 1964 to 1981, and we in Graduate & Faculty Ministries are especially grateful for his legacy. Angela Caffrey, MD, MDiv
Angela Caffrey is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She served overseas part-time each year, teaching surgery and end-of-life care at Tenwek Mission Hospital in Kenya from 2011 to 2017. While completing her MDiv at Fuller Seminary, she married Mark, a classmate from medical school; together they are building their marriage around John 15:1-17. She loves expressing God's love through cooking and food adventures, mentoring, and being outdoors, enjoying creation in every season. Her ministry passion is to love and support peer physicians and health care students as they walk together with the Lord.
