Bob Green

Veteran InterVarsity staff member Bob Green has served students and staff in Southern California for a number of years. He currently serves as a pastoral care specialist helping InterVarsity staff pay attention to their lives with Jesus. Bob and his wife Kendra have three daughters and reside in Bakersfield, California.

Todd Minturn

Former staff member Todd Minturn helped lead the Fresno Institute of Urban Leadership in Fresno, California. He has found that a commitment to spiritual formation and prayer are a necessary foundation to anyone seeking to serve Christ in the urban environment. He is married to Carrie and the father of two children.

Roger Weber

Roger Weber is a former InterVarsity staff who served in Northern California. He is now a pastor serving in the Southwest.

Doug Stewart

Veteran Staff Member Doug Stewart has served InterVarsity and IFES in both Latin America and the United States for over fifty years. He currently lives in Chicago were he continues to meet with others for spiritual direction.

Carolyn Carney

Carolyn Carney has served students and staff in InterVarsity and with Link (South Africa) for over 40 years. Retiring as the National Director of Spiritual Formation (Jan 2026), she will continue to lead retreats and offer spiritual direction, especially, in The Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius. She will continue to help InterVarsity as a movement wrestle with Who We Are Becoming as we live and minister in our world. She is the author of The Power of Group Prayer: How Intercession Transforms Us and the World (IVP, 2022). In her free time she loves practicing her photography skills, finding the best dark roast coffee, reading, and couch-time with her husband David, and their dogs, Keeley and Lexie.

Hallie Cowan

Hallie became a spiritual director in 2000 and pioneered a ministry of spiritual formation and prayer for InterVarsity New England, serving as its Director for 15 years. Hallie ministered with her words and her presence. She is remembered for her ministries of hospitality, teaching, prayer, mentoring, and spiritual direction. She helped many to become more deeply rooted in Christ. Hallie passed away in 2021.

Steve Stuckey

Steve Stuckey has served with InterVarsity in California since 1971. He and his wife, Nancy, have three grown children and five grandchildren. You can see more of his work at www.stevenstuckey.com.

Joe Moore

Joe helped staff  grow in intimacy with God and to mature as disciples of Christ while being about the mission by offering spiritual companioning, guided reflective retreats, spiritual formation training for staff directors, and coaching. He also worked to help InterVarsity as an organization nurture the souls of our staff & students.
