Steve Tamayo

Steve Tamayo serves as a strategist for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, working in the Latino Fellowship, Graduate and Faculty Ministries, and the Creative Labs. In these roles, he leads teams of coaches, directs strategic initiatives, and writes a weekly newsletter to over 4,000 ministry leaders.

Steve holds degrees from Duke University and the University of Oxford. In addition to his work with InterVarsity, Steve has served as the Executive Pastor at Chatham Community Church and the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Crossway Church. He is also the CEO of Orange Apple, a consulting firm that helps non-profits and small businesses make better decisions. He and his wife live with their four children in Tampa.

 

Wendy Quay

Wendy serves as the Vocational Discipleship Specialist in InterVarsity’s Pacific Region. She strives to help undergraduate students and InterVarsity staff articulate the connections between our Christian faith and all of life. Prior to this she worked with graduate students and faculty at Stanford University. 

Wendy was born in Malaysia and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She practiced law in Melbourne for several years before studying theology at Oxford University, the University of Aberdeen, and more recently at the Akrofi-Christaller Institute in Ghana. Wendy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Jared, their various foster children, and their little dog Oliver.
